"Good evening Mr. and Mrs. America and all the ships
at sea." The year is 1942. The place is the Bellman
Ballroom high atop the National Radio Building . The
big band is hot tonight as they crank out those tunes
from Tommy Dorsey, Gene Krupa, Count Basie, Harry James
and more. The dance floor is alive with Swing dancers
as they Lindy Hop and Jitterbug. And when the music
isn't bopping and the dancers aren't hopping we are
performing the next live episode of "The Shadow" or "Fibber
Magee and Molly". Who knows? Perhaps you are the next
guest to appear on "Arthur Godfrey Talent Scout".
This 1940's event works well either with or without
meal. It is best suited for mid to large size audiences.
